Robert Mueller’s investigation into the campaign of President Trump is getting more and more reprehensible. The investigation is founded upon the phony pretext that President Trump somehow colluded with Russia to win the Presidency. And now it seems that Mueller’s team is setting up a trap for anybody who is required to testify before them.

According to Judge Andrew Napolitano writing for Fox News, Mueller’s team now has access to every single email that was sent to and from President Trump’s transition team between November 2016 and January 2017. The team is then likely to use, and may already have begun doing so, to trap transition team employees into lying during the investigation. When questioned by the investigation, the team members are well within their right to be vague or say they don’t know about a question to avoid incrimination of themselves.

However, because Mueller’s team has access to their emails, those being questioned are walking into a trap where if they do not say what is exactly in the email they will be branded as liars and as hindering the investigation. How do we know this is what Mueller will do? Because this is exactly what happened to Michael Flynn and it doesn’t seem like they will stop anytime soon.

The reason the acquisition of the emails is so dicey for Mueller is that, while lawful, the seizure was far from moral. Because the request by the FBI to get the documents from the transition team occurred after President Trump’s swearing it, all of the emails were in the custody of the General Services Administration (GSA) who ultimately turned them over. According to Judge Napolitano, the FBI has three options when it comes to acquiring documents from parties .

“When the FBI is looking for documents or tangible things, it has several legal tools available. They range in their disruptive nature from a simple request to a grand jury subpoena to a judicially authorized search warrant.”

We already know the FBI did not get a warrant, which leaves two options, both immoral. If the FBI simply asked the GSA for the documents and they turned them over, the FBI’s acquisition was legal, however, by not talking to members of the transition team the GSA “violated a fiduciary duty to inform the PTT [Presidential Transition Team] of the request before they complied with it.” That same duty would also have effectively been breached if the FBI came with a subpoena. The custodian of the documents, here the GSA, had a duty to warn the transition team of the request so that they could challenge it in court if they wanted to.

However, we are left with thousands of emails in the hands of the FBI who clearly intends to trick transition team members into incriminating themselves as they did Michael Flynn.

So the immoral FBI is using immoral tactics to try and bring down President Trump. Is President Trump a known criminal? Or is the FBI and its democrat friends trying to overthrow a lawfully elected administration? I believe the latter and it is not only immoral it is illegal. The American Citizens will not stand still for this, they will revolt. Democrats know this but I don’t think they care.

Mueller has to take down President Trump to save the Democrat party. This will keep Mueller, Rosenstein, Clinton, Obama, Lynch and the others involved int this cover up from going to prison. Of course the taking out of Trump would make VP Mike Pence President and he could still continue the investigation into Mueller and the gang and still put them in orange jumpsuits where they rightfully belong.

What do you do when the FBI, the most powerful law enforcement organization in the nation, has become an organized criminal enterprise?

      • Tom

Plead the 5th to everything they ask. Answering questions is a no win situation. Give nothing let your lawyer deal with things.

They should all just use the Killery tactic if questioned…humm, I don’t recall, I don’t remember, etc., etc.

Looks like Jim Acosta took an emotional beating during the last election as he continues to attack the president with a vengeance. Poor Jim, payback time is taking a toll on his reporting. It is hard to know when he is reporting the truth.

Jimmie needs to be blocked from press meetings, as he has just proved he is completely bigoted and just a clown.

This is one reason we need to totally clean up the entire FBI. We must fired all those who are working for and with the FBI now.

    • Tom

It would be nice to fire them but with civil service it can’t be done. However management and supervisory positions are non civil service and the whole DC office needs to be transferred out to the boon docks as normal agents and bring in honest non supervisor guys from the field to run the DC office.

Everyone could take the Fifth on every question. “Sorry, but if I don’t answer exactly perfectly, as I know I won’t because my memory is not perfect, then I get charged with perjury, so I decline to answer anything.”

Fifth Amendments all ’round. Tell ’em to tell it to my lawyer. I hate the Fifth and I hate lawyers — except when they’re my friends.

  • Tom

If you don’t remember what is in an email from over a year ago you are normal. If the FBI wants to say anything about an email that old the only response is what did it say? I don’t remember that far back at this time. You are wasting both my and your time and simply plead the 5th on everything they ask or alternatively since this is POLITICAL WARFARE give only name, rank, and social security number to all questions ask.

  • Craig

Do the Hillary, at this point what does it matter! I don’t recall!

All they have to do is take the fifth under advice of attorney.
That song what Martha Stewart should have done. There is no crime here. Invoking the 5th thwarts Meuller’s team.
Propaganda value aside, it’s the best course of action.

Lois Lerner employed the 5th… haven’t heard much about her since. She’s enjoying her pension and her mint juleps.

At this point, bobbie mueller and his Unicorn Hunt have ZERO CREDIBILITY, and zero chance of restoring it. His gestapo tactics may have worked elsewhere, but between his illegal actions and tge blatant bigotry and idiocy of his team, no legitimate judge would likely accept his recommendations.

Perhaps bobbie is racing the clock against the OIG report on the FBI that will be our in February. That report could devastate comey, mccabe, and possibly mueller. Unless the “special investigation” reverses direction, the Unicorn Hunt is now just a huge waste of money.

In this instance take a closer look, Judge Napolitano.
It is what is happening in DC that remains shadowed and yet has begun to emerge in the form of the President’s Executive Order for a State of National Emergency.
The last sentence of that prior to the naming of 13 Enemies of the State says there will be other names added over time.
Mueller is being closely watched. He already has several strikes against him, and illegally acquiring emails is his most recent faux pas – those emails were NOT on Federal property servers.
The drama is indeed intensifying, but the tension is now salted with military backup. Mattis style.
Mueller is the one who needs to move very carefully and stay strictly within the lines – not his style.
