Imran Awan was former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s fall guy. But now, his wife has taken a deal that leaves her out to dry.

Awan and his wife Hina Alvi were caught trying to leave the country after being under investigation by the FBI.

“Because the Court has already scheduled defendant Awan’s continued status hearing for October 6, 2017, at 9:15 am, the government respectfully requests that the Court also summon defendant Alvi to appear for her arraignment on that date and time, or at the earliest available date for the Court thereafter,” the document reads.

Awan and his wife knew they were committing fraud and that is why they fled. But federal investigators are offering the couple a plea deal in exchange for information about the DNC and Wasserman Schutlz’s illegal activities. Awan and his wife were IT advisers for multiple congress members and are suspected of stealing confidential information for financial gain.

The couple and Imran’s whole family is not new the criminal activity at all, however.

“Awan pretended to be his wife when requesting a loan from the Congressional Federal Credit Union and got it! He had the credit union wire $165,000 to PAKISTAN – no questions asked.

In public lawsuits in Fairfax County, Va., the brothers have been accused of life insurance fraud as well as fraud involving a car dealership.”

The couples’ passports are revoked and they are receiving a plea deal that includes not being arrested in front of their children. But the information they provide about Schultz and the DNC is all that investigators are worried about.

With the Awan’s facing justice, if they have any dirt on Schultz you know it will come out.
