Crime Scene

At least 53 people were shot over the weekend in Chicago. Seven people were killed, including an 8-year-old girl as violence continues to rage in the crime stricken city. The shootings occurred between Friday evening and Monday morning as announced by Chicago police.

Here are the details on the 8-year-old girl:

Sunday night, an 8-year-old girl was shot in the arm and a 36-year-old woman in the hand about 7:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Major on the West Side, police said. Someone drove them to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where their conditions were stabilized. Police said two males were arguing on the street at the time when gunfire erupted. The girl and woman were not the intended targets. No one was in custody early Monday as Area North detectives investigate.

Also, a 14-year-old boy was killed:

Sunday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood, a vehicle pulled up to a 14-year-old boy standing at the corner of North and Luna avenues about 5 a.m. and someone inside it fired shots, hitting the boy in the head, police said. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the hallway of a home. He later died at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

A 23-year-old man was shot on a sidewalk after two people walked up to him and opened fire. He passed away at Stroger Hospital.

A 25-year-old man got into an argument at a party and was shot in the head. He dies at the scene.

24-year-old Jesus Valois was found on the porch of his home with a gunshot wound in the chest. He was shot at a different location and returned home to tell his family.

A 20-year-old was shot in the back of the head as he walked down the street.

25-year-old Christopher Kent was shot repeatedly on a street corner. He died at Stroger Hospital.

We continue to report on these atrocities because the mainstream media ignores them. Chicago has the most restrictive gun control laws in the country and it fails the people of the city every day. The media does not want you to hear about these things because it destroys every argument against the 2nd Amendment. Chicagoan’s are legally restricted from protecting themselves – and this is the result.

Gun control kills.
